Abramhoff pleads guilty

20 Republican Members of Congress, Including Tom DeLay, face various corruption charges on Abramhoff's testimony.

Man, it's really starting to look like corruption is par for the course for Republican congressional leaders these days. Granted, Abramhoff isn't in congress, but as a lobbyist for some of the largest Republican organizations in the country, it's expected that he'll be take a couple dozen congressmen down with him, all of them with a little "R" beside the state they're from. I wonder if they put that little "R" on the mugshot photos, too.

And what will become of Harry Reid. Will they connect the dots there as well? I believe so.
"REID: Well, first of all, Chris, make sure that — again, I'll repeat, Abramoff gave me no money. His firm gave me no money. He may have worked a firm where people have given me money. But I have — I feel totally at ease that I haven't done anything that is even close to being wrong."
Lobbying doesn't have to be as nasty of a business as Abramoff and others have turned it into, but it's a pretty sticky situation. Jack Abramoff does need to rot for this though.
